Nighttime Love
By Bobbie Troy

I love the darkness
before you touch me
the knowing that our love
will be gentle and slow
I love the softness of your body
that has no beginning or end
the joining that takes us
out of ourselves
I love the ending too
because i know
there will be another beginning

Beyond Tomorrow
by Bobbie Troy

if I could see beyond tomorrow
I would collect my laughter
in a jar
and save it for those dark days
(you know the ones)

Candy

By Bobbie Troy

there is nothing
like candy
to soothe
the savage sweet tooth
and if you say
that your lover’s lips
are sweeter
then you’re lying
